can someone give me all the details on Deathguild? i have never been, and would like to know what the schedule is, how big of a place it is, etc. thanks!

Sun, September 9, 2007 - 1:51 PMWell it's every monday night at the Glas Kat starting at 9:30 I believe. It's a pretty big club with the stompy stuff upstairs on the small dancefloor, and the gothy stuff downstairs on the main dancefloor. More info at:

Sun, September 9, 2007 - 2:40 PMactually, it depends on who's DJing downstairs. I would say that about 75% of the downstairs is stompy/EBM/Futurepop/Synthpop. That's broken up by some old school goth and miscellany.
Upstairs used to be a lot of the swoopy darkwave goth when Merrick was DJing, then would switch to industrial later in the evening. Now the upstairs is "eclectic" which goes to industrial around midnight.
Check the playlists at the website for a few weeks to see what the range is.

Mon, September 10, 2007 - 1:36 PMMargo and I spin about 80% old school goth and deathrock w/some punk thrown in for good measure upstairs from 9:30 - 12. The harsher industrial and electro starts up after that.
The other 20% ranges from newer electronic to indie bands, to some older experimental stuff from time to time. Some nights we mix it up quite a bit. Depends on requests and our mood, but we're trying to be consistant so that people can know what to expect (to a degree). We can also start posting them here, as the Death Guild page doesn't seem to add upstairs set lists at the moment.
