Well I've finally landed a job - in Albany NY. Can any of you there suggest any good clubs out here? I've already heard of several mainstream clubs, I think I need to go looking for underground clubs. Suggestions?
Thanks,
Troy

Re: Clubs in Albany NY
Tue, July 10, 2007 - 9:48 AMI used to live there, and absolutely LOVED QE2's. Which, sadly, is no more.

QE2 was great back in the day! Used to go when I lived there between 92-96. Nearly got arrested for lighting a fire on stage there once. -

Re: Clubs in Albany NY
Mon, July 16, 2007 - 2:18 PMThe Fuze Box was nice, being my typical self I just danced so I really didn't meet anyone (give me time). The club played music (probably MP3) off a mac, no real DJing there. As I said it was nice and I had fun, so I will go again but it wasn't DG, BAGG, New Wave City, Club Gossip, 1984, or Substance... I miss the Bay Area.
The Fuze Box is exactly where QE2 was - I don't know if that is "the old White Tower Hamburger building" or not. -

Re: Clubs in Albany NY
Mon, July 16, 2007 - 2:37 PMOne other thing neither of the two people wearring a correst was wearring them properly. It took a lot of effort not to reach out and cinch them tight. Nothing looks worse than a lose correst - just damn sloppy.
I've wanted a correst for years, just didn't have the money or a pressing desire. Now... well does anyone have the number for Dark Garden?

Re: Clubs in Albany NY
Sat, September 15, 2007 - 5:40 PMI see two listed up on the International Gothic Club Listing:
www.vamp.org/Gothic/clublist.html
A nice site to know about if you suddenly find yourself stuck somewhere random, like Louisville Kentucky... or Albany
Only driven by Albany, but I've been to Vertex in Rochester NY a few times, which I'd recommend if you head out that way, very cool in that it is a Club/Bar, not just a night, twice when I went they actually were running an open bar upstairs.
