So another HowWeird street festival went by and it had all kinds of good things except for one thing - Industrial / EBM / PowerNoize / BreakCore / Goth sound system. I really dont understand why. There was a fair number of industrial people in the crowd, and nobody got looked down upon for wearing just black. There would have been more if we had our own stage to bang our heads by.
Is it pointless to spin our music against the sunlight? Well, sunlight does not help but its not a showstopper.
Is asphalt too tough to stomp on with platform boots? Yeah, its tougher than our customary hardwood, but it only takes a dozen to stomp the hell out of it ;)
Is HowWeird's theme of peace and prosperity too far from our ways of expression? Last time I checked our displays of militarism and totalitarianism were meant to denounce it and not to celebrate it.
I dont mean to stand anyone up, just curious why it went without a sound system of ours? Promoters, DJs, please speak up :)

P.S. The only reason I posted this topic in DG tribe and not in Meat or DM or 5lowershop or SPAZ is because DG has highest traffic. I dont think that putting out sound system at place like HowWeird should be done by DG alone.
